Dr. Dre has been in a divorce case with his ex-wife Nicole Young for a long time. The producer had therefore proposed that divorce lawyers Laura Wasser and Howard King would defend him, but the judge has put a stop to that. Nicole had appealed because King acted as a lawyer for the whole family during her marriage to Dre. Reason enough for the judge to reject King. And since Wasser is working with King, she was automatically rejected too.

Bad luck for Dre, because Wasser ranks as one of the best divorce lawyers out there. For example, she’s also currently defending Kim Kardashian’s interests in the divorce with Kanye West. In addition, Nicole also has a top lawyer, Samantha Spector. That means that you have to watch out for Dre, who has to look for new lawyers ‘as soon as possible’.

Dre and Nicole separated in March 2020 after 24 years of marriage. Since then they have been involved in a fierce divorce case. The discussions are mainly about a possible marriage contract. According to Dre, that contract does exist, his ex claims that he tore up the papers in front of her. It was also recently announced that some of Dre’s mistresses must come to testify. According to Nicole, they may have important information about the contract.
