Dr Disrespect started his first stream on Youtube this Friday, August 7, answering the question that has been on everyone’s lips for the past few weeks: why was he banned from Twitch?
Dr Disrespect shocked the entire streaming community when his Twitch account was suddenly banned from the platform on June 26th for no apparent reason. After 6 weeks of almost complete silence, the Doc finally announced his return during a live on Instagram Wednesday August 6, a stream sur YouTube and a message on Twitter.
The next day, the 38-year-old star finally appeared on camera for the first time since her ban and began her stream in front of nearly 500,000 people by answering the question that burned the lips of every spectator present. Unfortunately he would be as lost as any of us.

Dr Disrespect returns to his Twitch ban
Two-Times, after having obviously dragged things a little while the stream is set up, then did not wait long to respond to its fans. The streamer explained that not only did he and his team not know the reasons for his ban, but that Twitch would not have contacted him either before or after removing him from their platform.
“A lot of people want to know what happened. Guess what? I want you to look me straight in the eye when I say that. We still have no idea,” he explains before mocking those who assure him that he knows the reasons for his ban and repeats, “we have no idea!”
The star also explained that he had done nothing to deserve a ban and criticized Twitch for its lack of communication and its handling of the problem. “As far as I’m concerned, we haven’t done anything to justify a ban. Not to mention the way they banished us. No communication before, no contact, nothing. Boom. It’s done.”
Dr Disrespect went on to attack those in the industry who were quick to seek a response to the situation. “The problem is that there are those who are eager to find an answer, suddenly it creates a situation of urgency and speculation. And I think that’s a fucking dodgy approach – period. “
He concluded the topic by explaining that people should let the legal experts do their job and solve this problem especially given the sums of money involved. “The last thing I’m going to say about this and I have to be smart about that because we’re talking about a big contract … There’s a lot of money at stake, so let the professionals do what they have to do. That’s all. “
While fans are clearly unsatisfied with Twitch’s reasons for banning one of the biggest stars from their platform, the Doc prefers to focus on the future of his YouTube stream channel.
Despite his extended hiatus since June, the streamer has largely managed to muster over 500k people on his channel, proof if there is one that the character of Dr Disrespect is always appreciated regardless of the platform on which it is located.
