Ciamis News, (harapanrakyat.com), – District Public Housing and Environmental Settlement Service (DPRKPLH) Ciamis, West Java, conducted an assessment for Adiwiyata school candidates in 2021, Monday (26/4/2021).
The Head of Environmental Management and Capacity Building for the DPRKPLH Ciamis, Deasy Ariyanto, said that this assessment is a series or stages of the Adiwiyata school program at the Ciamis Regency level.
Then, in this assessment there are also levels, starting from elementary school (SD), SMP and SMA. However, for Ciamis Regency itself, this year the assessment starts at the RA / TK level.
“That is in accordance with the innovation and direction of the Head of DPRKPLH Ciamis. Because to shape children’s character in caring for the environment, it starts as early as possible, “he said.
According to him, in the Adiwiyata candidate assessment, only two RA / TK schools took part in the assessment. Namely, RA Generasi Rabani and RA Miftahulsalam.
“Hopefully in the future there will be more participants from RA / TK who follow. Because this is very good for fostering children’s character, to care about the environment, “he said.
Ariyanto further explained, in the Adiwiyata school candidates there are three aspects, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Then the aspects that are assessed are related to administration and the environment.
“For Adiwiyata district level, the lowest score is 70 points. Then for the provincial level 80 points, the national level 90 points and the independent level is 95 points, “he explained.
So, he continued, if the school has a score of more than 70 or a minimum of 70 points, it means that it has the right to hold the Adiwiyata school.
“If the point is far away, there is a chance for next year. Because there is already an evaluation from us, we just have to go ahead and fix what is missing, “he said.
Adiwiyata School Assessment Team in Ciamis
Adiwiyata’s assessment involved several parties, namely from the DPRKPLH Ciamis, Adiwiyata’s team of advisors and Adiwiyata Ciamis activists. Then, the Education Office, West Java KCD and independent academics, Unigal Ciamis.
Ariyanto hopes that the participation of schools in Ciamis Regency in Adiwiyata will be further enhanced. The goal is to be able to shape children’s character towards caring for the environment, getting bigger and higher.
“This year there are 12 schools starting from RA / TK, SD, SMP and SMA that participate in Adiwiyata. Previously, there were 14 schools, but now 2 schools have a few obstacles, “he concluded. (Ferry/R5/HR-Online)
