The facts came to light after an undercover investigation by Dutch journalist Sven van der Meulen in collaboration with HLN.be and ‘Het Laatste Nieuws’. The actor is said to have played in dozens of productions by Studio 100, VRT and Disney, but also by VTM over the past twenty years.

“The situation is very serious,” said An Goovaerts, spokesperson for DPG Media. “In the coming hours and days we will investigate what exactly it entails, including the judicial investigation. Then we will see what further steps we take.”

According to the first information, DPG would not have a collaboration with the actor and has been for some time. However, it is still being examined what should happen with productions with the man from the past.

“We are not aware of the investigation at the VRT. If we receive further information, we will take appropriate measures,” VRT spokesman Hans Van Goethem responds briefly. Studio 100 did not yet want to respond to VTM Nieuws.
