In recent times, it has been noticed that a number of companies have laid off their employees. Below is a list of startups that have laid off their employees:

1. Flashes

Glints, a career development startup, is responsible for 18% of its 1,200 employees.

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Amanda Susanti in written statement, Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

3. OYO

OYO Hotels, an Indian hotel chain, has laid off 600 employees in its business and technology departments, or about a sixth of its total employees.

“We will do everything we can to ensure that the majority of people we have to outsource find paid employment,” chief executive Ritesh Agarwal told Reuters on Monday, December 5, 2022.

In addition to cutting employees, Oyo is also restructuring the company. One is combining the product and engineering teams on the basis that they allow for smoother functionality. The company is also streamlining its proof-of-concept and pilot development teams.
