Dorota Goldpoint has been creating creations for Agata Kornhauser-Duda for three years. During the collaboration, the designer created many outfits especially for our first lady. According to Goldpoint, the president’s wife always looks elegant and above all, appropriate to the occasion.
– Our first lady dresses very elegantly. She is consistent in her choices. She always has her underlined waist, she chooses narrow pencil skirts above the knee or mid-calf A-shaped dresses, Goldpoint tells Fakt. – Agata Duda dresses according to the occasion, which is extremely important because she is bound by the diplomatic protocol, so I think she perfectly meets his requirements – emphasizes the designer.
Goldpoint: Agata Duda is an elegant woman
– Diplomatic style has never been a hippie, boho or avant-garde style. If someone evaluates him as boring, then he probably does not know about the diplomatic protocol – explains the designer. – People who deal with broadly understood fashion – indeed, can see the style of the first lady as calm, prudent and even conservative. But the function of Mrs. Agata requires such a style. I think this is adequate – Goldpoint tells us.
– I have been working with Ms. Agata for 3 years and I know that many Polish designers dress her. What is valuable to me is that the president has repeatedly emphasized that it is important for her to wear Polish brands, because in this way she promotes our creators.
Who doesn’t like the costumes of the first lady?
The dispute about the style of Agata Kornhauser-Duda was caused by TVP News, which presented the opinion of the designer Christian Paul. “Compared to Melania Trump, the first two ladies stand out internationally by their character and original style,” he said.
Soon it turned out that the news had a slip-up, because the creator Christian Paul … does not exist. There is a dispute, which warmed the fashion world to red. Many true experts on the fashion industry disagree with the fact that our first lady dresses well.
– The style of our first lady is not even a fashion circle – thunders Michał Zaczyński. – Her clothes are boring. It’s just elegant costumes, suits for clerks – he says. The expert believes that comparing our first lady with the wife of the American president is … a mistake. – The style of Agata Duda and Melania Trump cannot be compared, because they are completely different – he calculates: Melania makes a show with her creations. Whether it is always appropriate and necessary is a separate issue, but at least it is not boring!
