Coach Dorival Júnior has announced that he will leave Flamengo do Brasil, a cast of Erick Pulgar and Arturo Vidal, due to disagreements with the club’s management.
The technician dorival junior announced this Saturday that he will be leaving the Flamengobecause the management of the Rio de Janeiro club has “decided it’s time for changes”, despite the fact that this year the Rio de Janeiro team has once again won the Copa Libertadores.
“Thank you so much for how I was welcomed into this club. I tried to do the best of all that was possible to win two titles,” said the coach in a video posted this morning on his social networks.
In doing so, he alluded to the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Libertadores, which Flamengo have won since taking over the reins of the team on 10 June.
Dorival leaves the Chilean club Erick Pulgar and Arturo Vidal with a balance of 26 wins, eight draws and nine defeats and a fifth position in the Brazilianwhich ended this month.
The manager has put order in a club full of stars, such as Gabriel Barbosa “Gabigol”, the Uruguayan Giorgian De Arrascaeta and ‘Rey’ Vidal, among many others, and which has experienced a period of instability since, under the guidance of Portuguese Jorge Jesus, won the Libertadores 2019.
