Don’t Be Underestimated, This Transgender Is Officially Inaugurated As A Four-Star Admiral

WASHINGTON – Assistant Minister of Health United States of America (USA) Dr Rachel Levine has been sworn in as the first transgender four-star officer in the country’s history. Dr Rachel Levine, 63, is now an admiral for the US Corps of Public Health Services.

Dr Levine was appointed directly by US President Joe Biden. Levine is already a publicly professed and highest-ranking transgender official in the US.

He described the occasion as “important” and “historic” during his swearing-in speech on Tuesday (19/10/2021).

“Hopefully this appointment today will be the first of many more to come, as we create a more diverse and inclusive future,” he said in a speech paying homage to other LGBTQ individuals who came before him.

Dr Levine is a graduate of Harvard College and Tulane University School of Medicine and previously worked as a pediatrician.

The US Corps of Public Health Services has about 6,000 uniformed officers tasked with responding to health crises such as the coronavirus pandemic and natural disasters.
