The reason why Trump has to explain himself is that several protesters have gone to civil lawsuits against Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, his presidential campaign and the security chief, Keith Schiller.

The reason is that several of the demonstrators have been subjected to violence from security guards in connection with a demonstration outside Trump Tower in New York in September 2015.

The six plaintiffs are human rights activists of Mexican origin who claim they were attacked by Trump’s guards outside the Trump building, when they demonstrated against Trump’s anti-Mexican immigration racism, writes CNBC.

The protesters are also said to have had several signs destroyed by Trump’s guards.

Central to the civil lawsuit is Donald Trump’s security chief in the Trump Organization, Keith Schiller, who has also previously worked as Trump’s personal bodyguard.

According to the plaintiffs, Schiller hit one of the protesters, Efrain Galicia, in the head after Garcia tried to take back a poster that Schiller had taken from him.

The plaintiffs believe that Donald Trump, the top leader of the Trump Organization and security personnel outside the Trump Tower, is also responsible for what happened.

“This case is about Donald Trump’s security guards attacking peaceful protesters on a public sidewalk,” said attorney Benjamin Dictor, who represents the plaintiffs.

He claims that Trump and the Trump Organization have done what they can to delay the process and Trump’s testimony, and looks forward to Trump having to testify under oath in the Trump Tower in New York on Monday.
