The entertainer Don Francisco returned to slide a withdrawal from television, this time from the Teletón solidarity campaign that it has commanded since 1978.
In the program “Con amigos en casa” on TV + hosted by Angélica Castro and Cristián De La Fuente, Mario Kreutzberger assured that “I have to deliver the Telethon this year, with the pain in my soul”.
The TV host added that he will be making himself available anyway to help, but emphasized that “a new generation has to come for the next 40 years.”
For the past decade Don Francisco has spoken about his eventual retirement from the small screen. In 2015 the program stopped airing “Giant Saturday” after 53 years on the air.
