Orlando Bloom (43) sees a sense in the loss of his dog. The past few weeks must have been sheer horror for the actor: in mid-July he reported that his dog Mighty had disappeared. After a long and intensive search, he had to report back to his fans about a week later with a sad message: The four-legged friend is dead. Although the 43-year-old is devastated because of this, he tries to draw something positive from the situation: He was able to show his care for his pregnant wife Katy Perry (35).
In a conversation with The Mirror the Lord of the Rings star now explains: “It was probably good for Katyto see how hard I tried to find him. “ Mighty was a gift from the singer and has accompanied him on all his trips since then. Orlando was so attached to the dog that he even referred to him in the interview as a “physical and visible representation of his heart” and would rather not speak of him so as not to burst into tears.
Finally, Orlando remembers the sad time: “I was looking for him for seven days because I just didn’t want to believe it until I found his collar”he reports. The situation was very painful for him – but he consoled himself with the thought that Mighty had a place in his heart forever.
