The case of a dog with a stomach tumor abandoned in the trash in Brazil, is generating outrage on social networks.
She was not only left by her owners, but they also threw her into a garbage container in Botucatu, Sao Paulo, giving her up for dead.
Luckily, a passerby found her and immediately transferred her to a vet for help, in addition to sharing her story with the world.
Palhinha Rodrigo, an animal defender, was passing by when he noticed the scared dog next to a pile of garbage bags, so he decided to capture the moment on video.
The vets who treated her discovered that she had a tumor in her stomach, so they began to treat her with medications.
“I named her Flor, because it is what it is”, assured the man on Facebook. “I went to visit her, she is fine, but requires care. He has a very large tumor in his tummy and is quite ulcerated. Cleaning was done and a bandage was made. She is medicated and before she can think about removing the tumor, she must be treated with medications and daily bandages ”he assured.
“You probably have to have your breast chain removed too, because you have several small tumors. But we will not give up. The kennel vets will give her all the necessary assistance and I am sure she will soon be in a home that truly loves her. ”he added.

These days Flor is recovering and in good condition, so veterinarians are looking for a family that can adopt her and that can continue with her treatment.
According to Rodrigo, the dog is very sweet and also enjoys car rides.
