The boy says that the day he received the first puncture he cried because it hurt a little. A pain that defines itself like the sting of a “wasp”.
The minor’s mother says that she explained to him why it was the vaccine, that it was the virus, and acknowledges that perhaps it wase “forgot” to tell him that he had to wear more than one. “I respect what each family does,” explains the mother, referring to childhood vaccination. “We have chosen to give him the vaccine because we believe it is the safest and best thing to do, but I respect all decisions.”
The eight-year-old boy is willing and ready to receive the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. He also assures that this time he will not cry.
