Dodgers manager Dave Roberts mentioned to MLB.com’s Ken Gurnick that while he’s heard that Price might not play in 2021 either, he doesn’t yet know what the pitcher’s final decision will be.
I’m not sure. David is very aware of what is happening and is very intelligent. I dont know. I hope – I love being around him and we are better with him – but when things become clearer, David will make a decision for him and his family.
Price joined the Dodgers with Mookie Betts from the Red Sox and will become a free agent at the end of the 2022 season.
