Do young market gardeners who settle in Gironde have to work for plums?

The Gironde Chamber of Agriculture imposes an internship on future market gardeners to enable them to gain experience and avoid bankruptcy. But for the main interested parties, this internship lasting 6 months, poorly paid, penalizes them in their course of installation. This measure, unique in France, was taken at a turning point for Gironde agriculture: the number of candidates for viticulture is declining, overtaken by aspiring market gardeners, often organic and not from the agricultural sector.
