Do you know which applications “steal” the most from users’ personal data? – ᐉ News from Fakti.bg – Technologies

Recently Apple requires application developers to specify privacy policy settings with a message about the data required by customers to control their activity. Using this information provided in the App Store and Mac App Store, pCloud analysts compiled a list of programs and sorted them in order according to the percentage of confidential data collected that could easily fall into the hands of third parties.

At the top of the anti-rating of the most interesting programs is the Instagram application, which collects 79% of users’ personal data. Facebook, on the other hand, “needs” only 57% of customer information. Linkedin ranks third among “data thieves” with 50%. Uber Eats, Trainline, YouTube, YouTube Music, Deliveroo, Duolingo and eBay are among the other most active applications looking for personal customer data.
