We call the corona info line and present ourselves as an employee of an international company. According to the telephone operators at the corona info line, the situation is clear.
VRT NWS: “I have to go to Paris for work next week, for a meeting at the French department. Is that allowed?”
Operator: “That’s a business trip, that’s allowed.”
VRT NWS: “Do I have to get tested when I get home?”
Operator: “That is not necessary”.
VRT NWS: “And do I have to be quarantined for two weeks?”
Operator: “If you are there for an essential movement, such as a business trip, you should not be quarantined and you should not be tested.
VRT NWS: “Really?
Operator: “No way, ma’am. We do recommend that you get tested, but we cannot make it compulsory.”
VRT NWS: “Bedankt! Daag!”
