The SANITAS Federation presents a series of proposals to end the assault on medical personnel.
The SANITAS Federation will present today a series of proposals that will lead to the cessation of the attack on medical personnel. The ideas were collected as part of the “Do not attack medical personnel” campaign, which took place since the end of January in Alba-Iulia, Cluj-Napoca, Buzau, Iasi, Constanţa and Târgu-Mureş.
The main objective of the campaign is the adoption of a legislative act to defend the medical body and discourage all kinds of violence.
According to a study conducted by the Bucharest College of Doctors, about 85% of medical personnel are verbally assaulted at work and over 10% physically, but very few complaints.
