Because of a debt of 200,000 euros, the couple is said to have threatened a businessman and put a debt collector on him. Among other things, the two are said to have sent the man, a former business partner of the husband, the homepage address of a collection agency three years ago, with the words: “Where conventional collection agencies reach their limits. We work directly on the debtor, on site and personally“.
Unknown demolished front door
When the man still didn’t pay, an unknown person is said to have smashed the glass on the front door of his house with a stone in 2019 and put a threatening message under his windshield wipers.

The couple admitted in court that they had hired a debt collection agency. According to the court, however, this did not exceed the threshold of coercion. Due to a lack of evidence, the couple could not prove that the two coerced the man or instigated the unknown debt collector to damage property.
