Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom recently made headlines after honoring a 45-year-old golden ticket, granting free admission to its lucky owner, Matthew Ables.

In a viral TikTok video, Ables expressed his disbelief as the one-day pass, originally purchased for $8 in 1978, turned out to be a valuable treasure.

After keeping the unused ticket for decades, Ables decided to give it a try and headed to Disney World in Florida. Initially concerned when an employee started stamping “void” all over the ticket booklet, Ables was ecstatic when the staff member returned with a yellow pass, granting him admission to the Magic Kingdom for the day.

“I can’t believe this actually worked!” Ables exclaimed.
