Late sequels to popular film series can be very successful. This was only demonstrated this year by the box office hit Top Gun: Maverick. No wonder Disney about this either movies driven by nostalgia puts. Recent examples: Hocus Pocus 2, Cursed Again and Indiana Jones 5.
Yet Hollywood reporter Disney’s next classic is reportedly getting a delayed sequel: Princess Diaries. The 2001 comedy is an integral part of pop culturemarks Anne Hathaway’s big break and received her first sequel in three years with The Princess Diaries 2.

But what happened to Amelia “Mia” Thermopolis, who discovered at the age of 15 that she was heir to the throne of the (imaginary) Kingdom of Genoa? Suddenly Princess 3 will have an answer very soon.
