PSV coach Ernest Faber notices that the talks about a wage sacrifice are keeping the group of players busy. The Eindhoven club desperately needs to save on salary costs to get through the coming period.
The management previously set a good example by submitting twenty percent of the salary. Faber thinks that with solidarity, the club can emerge stronger from the crisis. “I am confident that we will find good solutions for the future at PSV, but we do need collectivity in this,” says the coach in the Eindhoven Daily. “If an individual does not cooperate, everyone can be affected and the whole thing can fall over.”
The upcoming pay sacrifice is the talk of the day in Eindhoven. “It makes sense that cutting salaries keeps players busy. come and think as sensible people, “said Faber, who also sees this as an educational period for PSV. “As a club you now have to think longer about every euro you have to spend and that also applies to the youth academy.
