The German daily The time looked at the IT professions that are on the rise.

To become data scientist

Among them is that of data scientistthat Harvard Business Review presented as “the sexiest job of the 21st century” in 2012. Ten years later, the phenomenon was confirmed, because “from medicine to transportation to sales platforms, people everywhere are needed who can manage the huge amounts of data that companies produce every day”.

People sometimes confuse the position of data scientist with that of data analyst. Of course, both are dedicated to data analysis. But the data scientists have more complex tasks, such as creating forecasts or machine learning. They also need to make sure they are analyzing the right data.

How do we become data scientist ?

There are several ways to train:

• 1 – First, training exists at the university, generally at the license or master’s level. Some data scientists even have a doctorate in data science.
• 2 – You can train alone online. According to Alexander Hendorf, a member of the Python Software Foundation, who advises companies on data science and artificial intelligence and teaches on these subjects, it is entirely possible to find good courses online, but you have to be careful, because some are not
