According to a statement by Kellyn Slone, Discord’s director of product communications, the actions taken by Discord were in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and a court-ordered injunction. However, the developers of Suyu and Sudachi claim to have only received vague messages regarding the alleged violation of intellectual property rights. The community is concerned that Discord might have overstepped its own policies by permanently banning the servers and developers without clear evidence or proper warning.
