The victim was disappointed with the 7-year prison sentence of the defendant in the Moch Subchi Azal Tsani (MSAT) rape case Mas Becchi (42). The victim thought the sentence was unfair.
“When I learned that the sentence was only 7 years, I thought it was unfair to us, me and the victims,” the victim said on a conference call held at the LPSK office, East Jakarta on Thursday ( 1/12/2022).

“As hard as it is, how difficult it is to express this truth and how difficult it is for us to seek justice,” he whispered.
The victim admitted that she was approached by a man when she relayed what she had experienced. She is told to apologize to Bechi.
“They said I said slander, but I told them I didn’t commit slander, what happened to me really happened,” she said.
The victim also felt fear as the man kept targeting her. As a result, the victim had escaped from the Islamic boarding school to seek refuge.
“Until I was scared because they kept targeting me. After that, just at that moment I ran away from the hut, I sought shelter,” he said.
Meanwhile, another victim said she was sexually assaulted by Mas Becchi from the age of 14. He confessed to being kidnapped, held, strangled and kicked.
“Several times my veil was thrown from a lit cigarette. With the judge’s decision that Bechi was guilty and sentenced to 7 years in prison, I feel that this sentence is not worth the various violence I suffered,” she said.
