In the guidelines published by the Ministry for the return to school in September there is a novelty compared to the initial draft: it is no longer mentioned directly on Saturday as a lesson day for the extension of weekly school time.

Indeed the draft it contained the word “Saturday”: “the extension of weekly school time to Saturday, if not already foreseen by recent regulations innovations”.
In definitive version it is written: “a different weekly modulation of school time, by resolution of the competent collegial bodies.” with the cancellation of the word “Saturday”.
The president of the PNA Giannelli commented on the change as follows: “Improper references to the use of Saturdays, the competence of which falls within the autonomy of individual educational institutions, have finally disappeared”.
