Disappearance of a 50-year-old in Montérégie

MONTREAL – Authorities are asking the public for help in locating Richard Unvoy, 56, from Ange-Gardien, in Montérégie.

The 50-year-old was last seen on August 12 at his home on Rang Séraphine, in Ange-Gardien.

Mr. Unvoy drives a gray 2020 Toyota Corolla with registration number M98 SQG.

His relatives have reason to fear for his health and safety.

He is 1.83 m (6 ft) tall, weighs 120 kg (264 lbs), has brown hair and brown eyes. Unlike one of the photos provided by the SQ, Mr. Unvoy does not wear a mustache these days, it was said, adding that he speaks French.

The last time he was seen he was wearing a gray and beige striped polo shirt, a checked shirt and Bermuda shorts.

Anyone who sees Richard Unvoy is asked to contact 911. In addition, any information that could help find this person can be communicated, confidentially, to the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) at 1 800 659-4264.
