Dirk Boehme (52) will move from Talanx to the HDI Executive Board on March 1, 2021. He follows on Michael Krebbers (52), who will leave the insurer at his own request on January 31, 2021. Jens Köwing (43) also assumes the role of HSY board spokesman from Krebbers.
The mathematician and computer scientist Böhme has been working in the insurance industry as an IT manager for over 23 years. Among other things, he was CIO of Ergo Direkt Versicherung for nine years before moving to his current position as Chief Operation Officer (COO) at the IT consultancy Silbury in 2018.

HDI Systeme AG bundles the IT of HDI Group and Talanx in a central function. The aim of Böhme’s double mandate is the close interlinking of IT and specialist areas. It is therefore planned that he will also join the boards of several bancassurance companies. HDI’s bancassurance companies include Targo Versicherungen, PB Versicherungen and neue leben.
