On Saturday we get a more extensive preview The Batman. That’s when #DCFanDome will take place, an online event where DC and Warner Bros. provide an update on their upcoming projects.
Fortunately, director Matt Reeves has already shared a sweetener on Twitter. Then we are talking about the official logo of the film, as well as the first poster.
The Batman
Not with Robert Pattinson on it, but with a drawing of comics legend Jim Lee. His art shows a modern, sleek version of Batman.
Excited to share the very first look at our official #TheBatman logo, and some very cool additional #DCFanDome artwork by the amazing @jimlee — see more of #TheBatman at the #DCFanDome global event in the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 8/22! #TheBatman #DCFanDome #ForTheFans pic.twitter.com/ApfngNbyor

A Batman that does not match the previously leaked set photos from the DC movie. It remains to be seen whether these promotional images are a free interpretation or whether Pattinson will change costumes several times.
The Batman will be a different film than you are used to from, for example Dark Knight-trilogy. Matt Reeves dives into the detective genre, with a grim noir sauce.

No origin story
Of War for the Planet of the Apesdirector promises a deep and psychological story. Not a light Marvel film full of humor. Oh yeah, and we also already know it’s not ohrigin story is going to be.
So you don’t have to watch for the thousandth time how Bruce Wayne’s parents are killed. However, that event will be something the character is in The Batman still struggling with it.
In addition to Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, the cast includes Andy Serkis as Alfred, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / The Riddler, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson.
First images?
Hopefully we will get to see our first moving images this weekend. The production of The Batman has resumed, but unfortunately in a large studio instead of on location. You can read what that means and what the impact will be on the film in this article.
