Two opposing destinies, two converging issues.
On this eleventh day of Pro D2, Friday 18 November, Columérins and Montalbanais, who challenge each other, do not have the same sporting objectives. Haut-Garonnais fights for the first places, Tarn-et-Garonnais fights to take off from the bottom of the table.
But the two formations are both looking for points of reference and certainties.
The Columérins are sixth in the table (26 points) but hold on to the defeat suffered at Mont de Marsan the day before. If we look a little further, the balance of the last six games is mixed: three victories, three defeats.
The Montalbanesi are fourteenth in this classification (16 points). After a terrible month of October – four games, four defeats – which cost coach David Gérard his job, Sapiac’s men regained some color by winning at home on the last day against the promoted Massy, at the before new coach Pierre-Philippe Lafond.
