“Abu Alaa” adds: “My wife is being treated at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and I regularly receive her treatment, but I am afraid that her life will be in danger, because I am unable to renew the health insurance card.”
The husband continues: «In the past, I was able to manage the costs of treatment with the help of the health insurance that we have, as I used to work in a commercial store in the city of Al Ain with a salary of 3000 dirhams, but due to old age I left work, and my wife became the breadwinner for the family, as she sells sweets and foods from home, But what you get in terms of money hardly meets the requirements of our lives.”

The husband continued with tears in his eyes: “I feel very sad about the condition of my wife..my life partner, and I am helpless and idly handed. I cannot pay the costs of her treatment, or renew health insurance cards for her and the members of my family of seven, and I asked for help from family and friends, but unfortunately it was not I still get help from them.”
