Dion Cooper has cleared his agenda to “recover”, the Eurovision participant reports on Thursday Instagram. “After everything for the past few months, my battery is dead.”
The singer says he was “hugely excited” to get into the studio and play festivals this summer. But Cooper says he can’t handle this now and has to think about his health.
In May, the artist participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool together with Mia Nicolai on behalf of the Netherlands. With the song Burning Daylight the duo failed to reach the final.
After his participation, Cooper already took time to recover and go on vacation. At the beginning of June, the singer gave his first concert since the Eurovision Song Contest. He sang at the Dordrecht festival Wantijlive.
