An interesting boxing evening of the British promotion Matchroom Boxing took place on the evening of November 26 at the Wembley Arena in London.
Famous British boxer Dillian Whyte (27-3, 1 NC, 19 KOs) went to fight the American Germain Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs).
34-year-old Dillian Whyte returned to the ring after losing to Tyson Fury in April 2022. And 29-year-old American Jermaine Franklin was undefeated before this fight: having spent 21 professional fights, he won 21 victories (14 of them by knockout) .
The battle was on a collision course, no one had a noticeable advantage. As a result of counting the referee’s notes, it turned out that in an equal duel, two judges gave the advantage to White, and the third recorded a draw. Total: White wins by majority decision.

Now Dillian Whyte next year will have a chance to fight British former world champion Anthony Joshua, who suffered back to back defeats from Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was present at ringside and agreed to fight Whyte in 2023.
On the undercard of the London show, Ukrainian Pavel Krolenko (3–9–1) performed and suffered his 10th loss in his professional career, by a 5th-round TKO to Irishman Thomas Carty (TKO 5 /6).
