DIJON: K6FM is organizing a free showcase in the gardens of the Department

The radio and the departmental council of Côte-d’Or announced a “rich and all-public” plateau this Thursday, August 26 from 6.30 pm. Access by boulevard de la Trémouille with sanitary pass.

Press release from the Côte-d’Or departmental council of August 24, 2021:

The Departmental Council of Côte-d’Or and K6FM invite you to attend the sixth K6FM Showcase in the gardens of the department, Thursday August 26 at 6.30 p.m. After Cocoon, Axel Bauer, Pony Pony Run Run, Joyce Jonathan and the Métissé Collective (among others) in previous years, the set promises to be rich and suitable for all audiences:

THREE GOURMET CAFES

Without warning, she tumbled down the surge of Trois Cafés Gourmands. Jovial and unifying. Healthy and popular. Instant and welcoming. “I have Corrèze in catheter”. One hit, one true with 190 million views on YouTube and a first triple platinum album! They are back with a new album and a tour that will pass through Le Cèdre in Chenove on November 6th.

JULIE ZENATTI

Should we still present the one that was discovered at 17 by Luc Plamondon in the role of Fleur de Lys of “Notre-Dame de Paris” in 1998? Between two performances for the Restos du Cœur of which she has been a resident since 2003, Julie connects experiences and albums (6 in total, sold several hundred thousand copies). His new album “remake dancing flowers” was released in early 2021.

CATS ON TREES

Nina on the piano, Yohan on drums, this is all the alchemy of Cats On Trees revealed by the hit “Sirens call” and nominated for the Victoires de la Musique in 2014 in the “revelation album of the year” category. Today, the Cats On Trees sign a new album produced by the famous Liam Howe (Adele, Lane del Rey, Ellie Goulding …) and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Muse …) ). They will present some excerpts, in acoustics, in the gardens.

CALA (21)

CALA is a Dijon duo composed of the sparkling Amélie Ricard and the rocker Yuri Q. Coming from different cultures, they mix their influences using the sounds and dynamism of electro, the power and the frankness of rock, the positivity and the pop colors. They will perform their first 5-track album “the beginning” released at the beginning of the year.

OASHA (21)

A young group from Dijon made up of 3 brothers, Oscar 21 years old, Hector 18 years old and Achille 15 years old. A first opus with rock, funk and new wave influences, for heady and modern pop. The group will present the first 2 singles from their first album “Something Fresh”, which will be released in its entirety on September 17th.

ANTONIN VÉLA (21)

In addition to regular musical covers that he posts on YouTube every week, he has been working for two years on the creation of a personal album, between Paris and Dijon.

The title 12% that he will perform (among others) is an introduction to this album and an invitation into his soaring and nostalgic universe, with clean and sharp lyrics.

OLGA’S EYES (21)

The eyes of Olga is a Dijon duo born in 2017. The first EP “Easy land”, released in 2020 (all in English), gives pride of place to melancholic melodic flights, similar to film music. Their first album is being written.

COQUE SPONSOR (21)

Founders of MARRAINE COQUE: Fabienne Boucard and Luc Becker, songwriters-arrangers. “Godmother Coque” is the nickname given to Fabienne by her goddaughters and which she chooses, with Luc, to take up as the name and identity of the group they created in early 2019 with their close musical friends from Côte-d’Or. Pop mixed with rock, folk, electro is agitated in the five bodies of MARRAINE COQUE straight out of the depths of a steampunk world where their fuel is energy!

Since 2015, the Departmental Council and K6FM have been partners to promote the music of the Côte-d’Or, via the community site k6fmbfc.com and its webradio *.
