Habib Rizieq said that he had received a visa extension in exchange for safar fees, or permission to leave Saudi. Rizieq said that his visa, which had been dead for 2 years and 5 months, was revived by the government of Saudi Arabia.
“We were given a solution by the immigration authorities because they knew I had not done anything wrong, violated, the solution given was that our family was not given a safar fee, but given a visa extension. So my visa, which has been dead for 2 years and 5 months, is dead. revived and valid until mid-November 2020, “said Habib Rizieq, in a video broadcast on YouTube Front TV, Thursday (5/11/2020).

“I show here, this is my old visa. It lasted until 7 Zulkaidah in 1439 H, which is July 20, 2018. That was the old visa period, so since July 20, 2018 this visa has not been valid,” he explained.
“Now this is a new visa. This validity period is no longer 7 Zulkaidah, to 25 Rabi ul Awal, 1442 H, meaning this month coincides with November 11, 2020, so until mid-November. So until mid-November I can go home at any time, want to go up. any plane, without paying fines, without blacklisting, etc. And this is a gift from Allah SWT, “said Habib Rizieq.
Rizieq emphasized again that his safaris had been canceled with a visa extension. So, if there are parties who claim to be overstayed, they will be prosecuted legally.
