BVB, News: Didi Hamann once again brings Julian Nagelsmann into discussion as coach of Borussia Dortmund
At the beginning of September, when Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic was already under criticism, Sky expert Dietmar Hamann brought up Julian Nagelsmann as a possible successor. The current national coach was still available at the time, and it was only shortly afterwards that he took over from the dismissed Hansi Flick at the DFB team.
Due to the mixed season so far, in which the championship is already a long way off in fifth place and 15 points behind leaders Leverkusen, there is now and again public discussion about Terzic. And Hamann now suspected that Nagelsmann could be traded to BVB again.
“It’s over for now, but it could become an issue again towards the summer,” Hamann told Sport Bild. “Then Nagelsmann Stand is now free again, and it will be crucial for Edin Terzic to get into the top four.”
Nagelsmann has only signed a contract with the DFB until after the home European Championship next summer. So after that it could be back on the market.
