Few people knew it. Evan Spiegel, the creator of Snapchat, who is celebrating his 31st birthday this Friday, June 4, has been married to Miranda Kerr since 2017. The couple met in 2014, during a dinner organized by the Louis Vuitton house. Love at first sight was almost instantaneous and the lovebirds got engaged in July 2016 before saying “yes” to each other the following year. Together they gave birth to two sons, Hart, born May 2018, and Myles, born October 2019.
Miranda Kerr didn’t want to rush things with Evan Spiegel. The model was previously married to Orlando Bloom in 2010, before they divorced three years later. They had a son, named Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom, a year after their marriage. Following their divorce, the duo had agreed not to introduce their son to a partner before six months of relationship. A detail that everyone has respected to the letter.
An XXL house in Paris
During an interview with Edit magazine a few years ago, Miranda Kerr had confided how much she appreciated the wisdom and maturity of Evan Spiegel : « We don’t go out, we prefer to stay home, have dinner together and go to bed early […] He’s 25 but behaves like he’s 50, he’s not partying, he’s going to work and he’s going home. »Regarding their home, the couple offered themselves in January 2021 a 1000m2 residence in Paris for the sum of 24 million euros. Six bedrooms, a music room, a garden, a swimming pool… The lovebirds have chosen an exceptional location in the French capital. A location that is not trivial, because Evan Spiegel, born in Los Angeles, naturalized French in 2018. At the head of a fortune estimated at 4 billion dollars, the American entrepreneur has become a billionaire at the age of 24.
