In its first stage, the pandemic and the ensuing global economic crisis called into question, according to some, both the progress of globalization and its benefits. A short walk, however, the efforts to find a vaccine and reactivate international trade have made it clear to what extent we live in a globalized world, with its advantages and disadvantages.
Latin America is an actor and a stakeholder in globalization, and the growing volume and intensity of business within the region -and from it with the rest of the world- is a reality that requires specialized information treatment. DFSUD, the new medium of Diario Financiero launched last Wednesday, seeks to deliver that regional approach that both Chilean and Latin American readers expect (need!) to fully understand the economic dynamics that today activate the region and its companies.

DFSUD aspires to give these and other dynamics a professional journalistic account, and to put into context what they mean to our readers.

The outgoing CEO joins the Mexican Axos.” A multinational of Chilean origin looking for a Colombian executive -who in turn led an area of a unicorn of Argentine origin-, joins a Chilean manager who starts at the head of a regional marketplace born in Mexico.
