Developer makes Doom playable in Notepad with 60 fps framerate – Gaming – .Geeks

If you look at the update artifacts I completely agree with @.I will do it and this developer has requested a handle to the notepad.exe process window and places the text here in the Windows change control element. The fact that the last characters flicker at the bottom right tells me that the screen is rewritten each time from position 0 to the end, making the characters at the bottom much shorter on the screen, hence the flickering 😉

I’d rather use a paste buffer and just inject a keystroke select all and paste so that the whole image is updated in 1x.

A nice extension of this would be to render a 1080p image and then inject it into an application like Photoshop or a video stream (youtube / netflix / etc), which would give an even bigger wow factor 😉
