Developer 343 Industries has released new screenshots of Halo Infinite. The new installment in the Halo franchise should be released later this year for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
Halo Infinite should have been released in 2020, but it was delayed by 343 Industries and Microsoft. After showing the first gameplay footage in the summer of last year, many fans criticized what the game looked like at the time. The developer acknowledged that the game was not yet up to the Halo standard and decided to delay the game.
While we won’t be seeing any new gameplay yet, the studio has released new screenshots. In a blogpost the makers discuss the development of the game and there are several screenshots from the campaign of Halo Infinite. The world appears in the images a lot more detailed than before, with which the studio has addressed an important point of criticism.
To date, there is no release date for Halo Infinite. 343 Industries has alone announced that the game is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2021.
