Professionals from the so-called smokeless industry and the Czech public show interest in the Cuba destination with its various attractions at the 32nd Prague International Tourism Fair, an event that will end today.
Based in the Congress Palace of this capital, the three-day forum known as Holiday World & Region World has a stand from the island, which promotes the Cuba Única campaign, which highlights the uniqueness of a destination in the Caribbean that It combines tradition and modernity and natural beauty with history, culture and the hospitality of its people.
From the historic centers of the capital Havana and Cienfuegos, the Viñales Valley and Trinidad with its Valley of the Ingenios, all world heritage sites, to the world-famous Varadero beach and historic Santiago de Cuba, the Antillean nation enchants for its diversity of options.
On Friday, on the first day of the Prague fair, professionals in the sector, such as tour operators and travel agencies, learned about Cuba’s proposals, while yesterday and today the show has been dedicated to the general public.
The permanent presence of potential travelers at the Caribbean country’s stand and their questions about the characteristics of the destination have confirmed the interest of many Czechs in the Caribbean country, for which the Eastern European nation constitutes a growing market.
The space dedicated to Cuba at the fair was inaugurated by the ambassador to the Czech Republic, Saylín Martínez, who was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism for Eastern Europe, Osnier Fonseca, and by representatives of hotel chains that operate on the island.
