Design on the ear – podcasts for those interested in design

In times of Corona, lockdowns and contact restrictions, people withdraw to the home office and to the recording studio, one might say. Because this year many new design podcasts were created. I would like to present some interesting offers here.

Since the launch of the communication design podcast formfunk (2015) and the greyscale podcast (2018), a lot has happened in the podcast scene. While design conferences, symposiums and panel discussions have been canceled or postponed indefinitely, the subscription to German audio offerings in the field of design has grown significantly.

Even if the digital can only insufficiently replace personal exchange, the podcast medium seems to fill the vacuum that has arisen in the course of the corona-related cancellations and closings in terms of knowledge and experience exchange and communication. This post has tons of design on the ear and podcast recommendations for those interested in design.
