Dennis Schouten is leaving PowNed, the presenter confirms in the Monday morning radio show from Wilfred Genee.
Schouten says that it was actually not the intention that Genee would announce the news of his departure on Monday. “I’ve had angry people on the phone after what you just yelled on the radio,” said the presenter.
According to Schouten, there is no way to return to PowNed. The presenter does not give a reason for the departure.
In July Schouten denied leaving PowNed. The presenter then reported having had his contract adjusted. Schouten would continue to work for the broadcaster two days a week.
At the end of October, Schouten announced that he would become a reporter for Wilfred Genee’s new morning show on Radio Veronica. Monday was the first broadcast of the radio program.
