“One of the main things in handling DHF is environmental cleanliness which must be a concern for all residents of Kupang City,” said the Head of the Kupang City Environment and Hygiene Service. Orson Genes Nawa in Kupang, Wednesday (16.2).

He said this was related to the efforts of the Kupang City Government in dealing with the increase in cases DBD.

He said one of the main things in handling DHF is environmental cleanliness which must be considered because with a clean environment, DHF mosquitoes are not easy to breed.

He explained that the emergence of dengue cases was caused by poor environmental hygiene.

“Mosquitoes will breed if there are many piles of garbage left, especially with rainwater that is accommodated in the garbage. A clean environmental culture must be owned by everyone from an early age,” he said.
