According to related industries on the 25th, the People of Delivery stopped the restaurant delivery service Baemin Riders service and the daily necessities delivery service B Mart from 6:38 pm on the 24th. The service was restored at 11 pm, about 4 hours later.
The People’s Party of Delivery believes that on Christmas Eve, the server was down due to crowded orders for dinner time.
Due to the re-proliferation of Corona 19, three cities in the metropolitan area (Seoul City, Gyeonggi Province, Incheon City) from 0:00 a.m. from last 23rd issued an administrative order prohibiting private gatherings of ‘5 or more’ until January 3 of next year. From 0:00 on the 24th, the measures were expanded. Accordingly, it is explained that the delivery demands of consumers who want to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere at home were not able to withstand the delivery demand.
It is expected that the damage of store owners who missed the business during the Christmas Eve evening is large. The People’s Side of Delivery plans to provide appropriate compensation for the damaged store owners.
