Status: 07/20/2022 10:00 a.m

Almost a hundred musicians have been invited to the Deichbrand Festival this summer. Starting tomorrow, a varied program will take place for four days on the Wurster North Sea coast.

After the Deichbrand Festival had to pause for two years due to the ongoing corona pandemic, the organizers announced the first acts for this year a year ago. They tried to take as many acts as possible from the 2020 line-up to present the expected bands to the fans who could already get tickets. Among other things, there are Been, Milky Chance, Apache207 and The Orsons.

The indie rock band is also there power club from Chemnitz, which celebrated its comeback this year. The American DJ Steve Aoki is now presenting his electro-house beats in the district of Cuxhaven for the second time. Also pop musicians like Bosse, Clueso or Mia appear again at the Deichbrandfestival.

In addition to the concerts, various workshops will again take place at the Deichbrand Festival. This year the festival puts a focus on handwork with hair wreath tying and athletic endurance with a climbing wall and a slackline park.

New at the Deichbrand Festival 2022

The ‘Electric Island’, which is located in the infield and can therefore be used until the early hours of the morning, is a new concept. All electronic and techno acts perform on this stage. And when all the other concerts are long over, there is still a party program in the palace tent at night. The ‘warm-up party’, which takes place on Thursday, is not new, but it has been moved and is now taking place in the infield in front of a large stage. Among other things, the bands are on the stage Beauty & the Beats and the Drunken Masters.
