“During the first half, we existed very little on the offensive level, with a poverty in the game and on the technical level which prevented us from causing the slightest concern to this Lille team. On the defensive level, I think that we had started well and we were well in place, they couldn’t find a solution, it came on a long shot and, behind that, there are two defensive errors which are tactically avoidable, where we have to be much fairer. At half-time, we tried to appease the spirits, not to mentally crush the players too much to try to limit the breakage, and I think that was the case. For me , the Lille team is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful to see play in this championship.”
