Naples have to swallow the bitter pill while entertaining Sassuolo. The Partenopei fell 0-2, which kept Sassuolo stuck AC Milan.
The Italian League continued to bring Napoli vs Sassuolo at San Paolo, Monday (11/2/2020) in the morning WIB. Napoli made threats when the game had only been running for three minutes. Dries Mertens’ speculative shot from outside the penalty box failed to lead to the goal.
Victor Osimhen got a golden opportunity in the 10th minute. He fired from close range, but the ball was still managed by goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

Instead of getting a goal, Napoli were instead rewarded with a penalty in the 59th minute. VAR stated that Giovanni Di Lorenzo violated Raspadori. Manuel Locatelli came forward as executor and gave Sassuolo a 1-0 lead
After the goal, the match had minimal opportunities. Napoli just threatened in the 72nd minute through Kostas Manolas’ header from Kostas Manolas. A minute later Osimhen threatens, but the ball is secured by the goalkeeper.
Napoli continue to pound Sassuolo’s defense for the remaining time. Instead of getting the equalizer, Partenopei even conceded again in injury time. Maxime Lopez tore Ospina’s net to bring Sassuolo to a 2-0 win.
This result kept Sassuolo in second place with 14 points. They are still two points behind AC Milan at the top of the standings with 16 points. Napoli dropped to fifth with 11 points.
