Benfica will debut this Wednesday, in the game against Club Brugge, what they say is “an innovative and unique concept in Portugal”, with a show before, during and after the game by Deejay Kamala. According to the statement from the eagles, the collaboration with this artist and his team has already been “felt since the beginning of the year, with the upgrade of the musical aesthetic on game days, as well as the impactful pre-game shows, shows video, lights, sound and effects”. The idea, explains Benfica, is to give the fans more than just a football game, but rather a show. According to the same statement, the meeting with Club Brugge will also mark a novelty in musical terms, with Kamala also assuming “the mission of recovering themes and songs from the club, with a current aesthetic and adapted to the reality ‘Estádio em dia de game'”. At this meeting, the singer and host NBC will be present to cheer up the hosts during the two hours before kick-off.

At the invitation of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Deejay Kamala accepted the challenge of raising the animation, show and entertainment at Estádio da Luz to a level worthy of the Club’s parchments, following the strong investment made in terms of infrastructure and audiovisuals, placing – in one of the best and most equipped stadiums in Europe and the world.

The concept it aims to implement is unprecedented in football in Portugal. In a first phase, to offer Sport Lisboa e Benfica supporters much more than a football match: a show!
