Decrease in the number of hospitalized and increases the number of discharges

On day 104 of the state of emergency, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that the accumulated number of hospitalized patients throughout the country amounts to 10,762 so far, which means 202 less than the previous report on Friday, when they totaled 10,964 .

The evolution of the accumulated total of hospitalized by covid-19 in the last week was as follows: on Monday they were 10,714, on Tuesday they were 10,588, on Wednesday 10,599, on Thursday 10,587 and on Friday it rose to 10,964.

The statement of the Minsa shows that the accumulated total of people who tested positive for the coronavirus amounts to 275,989 to date, while the deaths so far are 9,135, 196 more than that indicated in the report on Friday.

Likewise, the number of hospital discharges grew to 7,848, that is to say 210 more in relation to what was indicated on Friday, when they were 7,638.
